Aetna is pleased to announce the following promotions:
Duncan Stuart as Market President for the New England Market. Duncan has a proven track record of innovation, developing talent and driving growth, which are all critical to continued success in his new role.
Nicole Kulpa to Account Manager for the New England National Accounts team.

Robin Antonellis, Vice President, Human Resources at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, has been named to the Boston Women’s Workforce Council’s (BWWC) HR Advisory Board.  Robin was named among 5 inaugural leaders supporting efforts to close the gender wage gap in Boston and beyond.  This work is considered an extension of Mayor Marty Walsh’s initiatives.

Jerry Cicalese, SVP of Retirement Services at Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group has been named as one of the Top 100 DC Wholesalers ("Wingmen") by NAPA Net Magazine. Jerry was also named as one of the Top 10 in the Recordkeeper category.

Hooker & Holcombe is pleased to announce the following distinctions and designations:
Richard Sych, President and Consulting Actuary, has been elected to the University of Saint Joseph Actuarial Advisory Board as Advisory Board Coordinator. 
Nikolas Boivin, Senior Actuarial Analyst, has attained the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).  
Dan McCarthy, Senior Actuarial Associate, has attained the Enrolled Actuary designation (EA).

Marsh & McLennan Agency is thrilled to announce that multiple retirement advisers across the regions have been named to the 2019 edition of the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Advisers.  The list recognizes the top financial advisers who specialize in serving defined contribution (DC) retirement plans across the U.S., including:

MEMBERS ON THE MOVE - New Hires

George Barrette has joined UnitedHealthcare Global as Vice President of Sales for their Global Solutions business in New England. In this role, George consultatively partners with intermediaries and key decision makers to design, implement and manage benefit programs for multinational organizations and their globally mobile populations. 

David Byrne has joined Marsh & McLennan Agency as the Managing Director of the Private Client Division for New England.  David will lead MMA’s growing team of Private Client sales and service colleagues throughout New England.  

Torchlight welcomes new Board member Joanne Derr.  Joanne has served as Vice President of HR at Care.com, Neighborhood Health Plan (now AllWays Health Partners) and UMass Medical School and is now an executive coach.

Susan Galvin has just joined Cross Insurance in Wakefield, MA, as the Assistant Vice President of Client Services.

Susan Glover is enjoying her new job as the Manager of People and Culture for Boston College High School.

Spring Consulting Group recently hired Craig Greenwald, FSA, EA, MAAA to handle business development, as well as relationship management with some of the firm's largest clients for multiple lines of service.  He will also lead the retirement actuarial consulting team.


 

Bruce Hochstadt, MD, formerly with Willis Towers Watson, has joined the Marathon Health executive team.

 

On November 1, Mark Kelly will join Boston Consulting group as Global Wellbeing Senior Manager.

Lively, Inc. is pleased to welcome Paul McGovern as VP Sales, Northeast Region. Paul joins Lively with over 10 years of experience in the benefits industry developing and maintaining relationships with brokers, consultants and employers.

Melanie McGrath has joined Staples as Senior Manager, Retirement Benefits.

Aetna is pleased to welcome Jason Tompkins as Chief Growth Officer Northeast. Jason brings extensive sales and account management leadership experience along with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.

Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group is pleased to welcome:
Christopher Han as Vice President of Advisor Channel Services. Christopher will work with advisors to expand Sentinel’s service offerings in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
Joni Worrell to the Health & Welfare team as a Sales Consultant. Joni will be working out of Ohio to expand Sentinel’s Health & Welfare service offerings into the Midwest region, along with Tennessee, Pennsylvania and other areas.

Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group is also announcing that the third class of their Sales & Business Development Program has begun their twelve-month rotation.  The members of the two classes that preceded them are in Sales Development Representative roles.
